Join local burlesque babes Jessicalee Skary and Elsa Riot for a tantalizing burlesque class, tasty cocktails, and salacious show. The evening starts with an hour long class on the art of the tease and ends with a friendly game of Burlesque Roulette. Come learn some burlesque and step right up to the stage! Or come cheer for a host of babes as we surprise ourselves and each other with newfound confidence and ways to command a room with the art of the striptease.
WHAT
What is Burlesque Roulette? We're glad you asked! A vaudevillian improv game, the idea is to do a fully improvised burlesque routine to a mystery song. The song you perform is up to the gods of Shuffle (although participants will get a sneak peek of the song list).
The rules are simple. Seven brave contestants will step up on stage to compete for a chance to win from a whole host of prizes including a grand prize of cold hard cash. We lay out several classic tools of the trade (metal folding chair, fans, a parasol, etc) that contestants may choose to use on stage. Get as much of your costume off by the end of the song as stylishly as possible. Armed with the knowledge and moves from the class before the show, we are going to build our own burlesque.

Elsa Riot is a seasoned classic burlesque artist with shows and festivals around the country under her belt. You can catch her bopping on the gogo boxes every Wednesday night on Heavy Leather Topless Dance Party on SCATV, and the first Saturday of every month at her burlesque & variety show, Smoke & Shadows.
Jessicalee Skary is a five year veteran of the Slutcracker. Catch her weekly burlesque class Monday nights at Out of the Blue gallery in Allston. Mixed media artist and performer, Ms. Skary is a make up artist, dancer, hooper, and contortionist. This little weirdo has spent a decade learning how to tease and please you.
